Apex: Irish Coffee
Introducing Endangered Species no. 53, Apex : Irish Coffee. We have taken our delicious Oatmeal Stout, Apex and let our brewer’s imagination run wild. The result? A delicious, decadent stout inspired by our love for Irish Coffees.
Infused with Brazilian arabica coffee beans from our friends in Never a Day’s Trouble and Irish Whiskey, all supported with a creamy body thanks to the addition of milk sugar. This is a beer best enjoyed after a good meal with family and friends.
Neon Moon
Introducing Neon Moon, number 52 in our Endangered Species series. This hazy IPA is vibrant, juicy, and refreshingly complex. It pours golden with a slightly opaque haze that allows the beer to glow. The Luminosa and Strata hops create a bright, juicy aroma on the nose. Expect intense tropical fruit flavours, subtle dankness and a burst of citrus fruit, all support by a smooth, creamy mouthfeel and soft malty backbone. Enjoy this can in the dark, and watch it glow like a neon moon.
Call of Juicy Black Hops
Introducing Call of Juicy: Black Hops, the latest edition of our Endangered Species series to be returned from extinction for our 10th Birthday. Originally no. 18 in the series, Black Hops was released in 2021 as the follow up to our NEIPA, Call of Juicy and was a massive hit. This 6.5%, Black IPA brewed using roasted speciality malts and a shed load of juice forward hops. Dark opaque colour with a creamy head, this smooth Black IPA is bursting full of citrus and tropical fruits with a creamy milk chocolate body and a hint of roast malts.
Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Four Bean Apex
One of our most requested, highly rated and staff favourite, our Bourbon Barrel Aged Four Bean Apex is back just in time to toast our 10th Birthday. We have taken our delicious Oatmeal Stout, Apex and let our brewer’s imagination run wild. Aged for 12 months in specially selected bourbon barrels to allow the flavours deepen and develop over time. This beer is even better than we remember. The beer has developed into a rich, complex stout, full of flavour and aroma. You can expect rich savoury notes with hints of cinnamon, clove, mixed spice, roast coffee, velvety smooth chocolate, Vanilla and a touch of oak.
