The Locavore Project epitomises the core philosophy that Wicklow Wolf was founded upon, provenance and pride. It allows us to honour the landscape of Wicklow, our home and celebrate it with small batch, local, experimental beers. Locavore Summer 2024 is a honey and elderflower wheat beer brewed with heather honey supplied by our friends at OpenHive and foraged elderflower from near the Hop Farm. The bees worked hard in the Wicklow mountains to gather the nectar needed to make beautiful heather honey which adds a unique characteristic to this beer, complimented well by the freshly foraged elderflower.
