DOUBLE TROUBLE
Great beer starts with great friends.
In true @neveradaystrouble fashion, we first met through a van window while Jack brewed the coffee. Talk of beer, coffee and cars followed – we became their first wholesale customer, and the idea for Double Trouble was born.
Inspired by the Italian dessert – affogato, this 10% Imperial Stout is brewed with their Fazenda Lagoa Brazilian coffee, layered with vanilla and a touch of lactose to bring this dessert to life. Think creamy vanilla ice cream under a fresh shot of rich espresso, all captured in a can.
Great beer, great coffee really does mean good times. Enjoy this one in a glass, or in a mug.

STILL FAR AWAY
Introducing Endangered Species No. 63 – Still Far Away.
The third chapter in our New Zealand hop releases following on from no. 15 – Somewhere Far Away and no. 26 – Far Far Away. Still Far Away is the brain child of our brewers coming together to produce a beer that champions three super fresh New Zealand hops, Riwaka, Motueka and Nelson Sauvin. This Hazy IPA is the perfect platform for these hops to shine through. Expect a burst of citrus fruits, lime zest, grape and gooseberry – tropical, zesty and softly hazy.
Sit back, put your feet up and dream of somewhere that`s Still Far Away.

LOCAVORE HOP HARVEST 2025
A story that is rooted deep in the philosphy of Wicklow Wolf, The Locavore Project epitomises the values that we were founded upon, provenance and pride.
This year, we brewed an Extra Special Bitter (ESB) as the 2025 Locavore Hop Harvest and shot a behind the scenes story of how the beer was made, broken into 3 videos:
1/ We follow co-founders Simon and Quincey around our Hop Farm as Simon discusses Locavore and the Hop Farm.
2/ We see our Head of Production John, meet David in @minchmalt as we select specially roasted malted barley made on their pilot kit just for this delicious ESB.
3/ John and our Head Brewer Andrew bring us through the recipe, the beer style and taste this fresh hop ESB that we are so proud to have released as our 2025 Locavore Hop Harvest beer.

Introducing Heimirken Parrott-dise Lager, a beer brewed to celebrate those incredible scenes in Hungary – Heimir on the touchline, Troy slotting home the last-minute winner, and a nation leaping off the bar stool all at once.
This 4.42% lager is bright, crisp and tastes like victory.

Introducing Truffle Shuffle – a rich, velvety Milk Chocolate Truffle Stout, crafted with our friends at @butlerschocolate. A collaboration brewed to indulge the senses.
Inspired by the distinctive flavour of Butlers Milk Chocolate, this rich stout is infused with Butlers’ cacao nibs, a touch of vanilla, and creamy lactose – creating a smooth, decadent stout that’s best enjoyed alongside a creamy Butlers Milk Chocolate Truffle.

The wait is over, from deep within the Wicklow woods, the roar of Devil`s Glen can be heard. Unleashed, this rare beast is sinfully good and hitting shelves nationwide this week.
Pouring jet black with notes of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, and caramel – cut by bright bursts of citrus and pine – this 6.66% Black IPA is devilishly bold, bitter, and unapologetically wicked.

ECO TRAIL WICKLOW 2025
What a day, what a race and what a community. We are proud sponsors of @ecotrailwicklow, a partnership that goes back to the first race and it just keeps getting better every year. It was a privilege to watch everyone cross the finish line with big smiles after a hard run and to share some of our Wicklow Wolf 0.5 beer with them. A massive congrats to all the finishers, including our co-founder Simon, brewer Harry, taproom member Melanie and all the Wicklow Wolf Running Club members who braved the weather and finished strong.
A massive thanks to everyone at Eco Trail Wicklow, all the volunteers and marshals. It was great to see our friends @dynafit, @_nobo_ and @if_endurance_ire there too, supporting, running and fuelling everyone for the day.

HOP HARVEST 2025
In true spirit of our Locavore hop harvest, we are beholden to nothing but Mother Nature. With this in mind, the hops are ready to be harvested, hand picked and added fresh into this year`s Locavore Hop Harvest beer.
We will be hand picking hops tomorrow in the Taproom from 10am – 2pm with all the hops being added straight into the brew at 2pm sharp.
If anyone is around to lend a hand picking the hops, there will be coffees and of course some beers for all our helpers again. Please send us a private message if you will be able to make it. We will also make sure to keep a can or 2 aside of the final beer for all those who played a hand in hop picking when it finally releases.
Our hop harvest day is always a great community day and we can`t wait for this years harvest. See you all tomorrow.
