Wicklow Wolf Brewing Company are officially a Certified B Corporation as of September 2024, a significant milestone on our journey. We are the first brewery in Ireland to join the global B Corp community.
This certification is a testament to our commitment to doing business the right way – prioritising the planet, our people, and the community together with our focus on brewing exceptional craft beer.

PACIFIC HEIGHTS – Endangered Species No. 55
Inspired by Quincey and Simon’s time living in San Francisco, where Quincey first discovered home brewing, Pacific Heights is a tribute to one of the beers that inspired Wicklow Wolf`s journey – Anchor Steam.
This California Common pours a golden amber hue, slowly conditioned at ale temperatures with lager yeast for a crisp, clean profile. Pacific Heights boasts a rich malt backbone with toasty biscuit notes, caramel sweetness, and a hint of nuttiness. Subtle earthy and floral aromas give way to layers of citrus zest and a touch of spice, all balanced by a crisp, dry finish that leaves you ready for another sip.

NEXT STOP – Our latest Endangered Species release 🌊
Bold, untamed, and full of character, Next Stop is a 5.8% West Coast IPA that takes your taste buds on a journey. Brewed with Amarillo, Simcoe, Citra, and Columbus hops, it delivers waves of pine, grassy freshness, and juicy stone fruit, with hints of melon and citrus pith. A crisp Pilsner and Vienna malt backbone sets the stage, while a firm bitterness and dry finish leave you ready for the next sip – just like the bracing Atlantic air that inspired it.

Introducing Endangered Species no. 55, Pacific Heights.
A beer inspired by San Francisco, a place that planted the seed for Wicklow Wolf, with Quincey and Simon both having spent time there. Living on Pacific Heights, it was there that Quincey began home brewing for the first time and discovered the world of craft beer. If you sit down for a pint with Quincey, it won’t be long before he slips into storytelling mode, sharing tales of his runs around San Francisco, across the Golden Gate Bridge, and treating himself to a pint of Anchor Steam afterwards. A beer that was – and still is – synonymous with San Francisco is Anchor Steam, a California Common style that inspired this beer.

Introducing Next Stop, the 54th release in our Endangered Species series.
Next Stop is inspired by a journey in 1846, taken by Captain Wolf (no, we are not making this up) aboard HM Coastguard. On navigating the rugged West Coast of Ireland in search of a site for Ireland’s most westerly lighthouse. His voyage led him to Foze Rock, a remote and unforgiving Atlantic outcrop and the most Westerly point of Ireland. After Foze Rock, it is next stop Newfoundland, Canada. Though Foze Rock was later deemed unsuitable because of its exposed and rough nature, the mission continued, and the lighthouse found its home on Tearaght Island, where it still stands today.
Like the vast ocean that separates these lands, Next Stop is bold, untamed, and full of character.

WICKLOW WOLF RUNNING CLUB – Next Run & Bray Head Recap
Our first run of the year took us up over Bray Head on the last night in January, and what a night it was! With over 40 runners turning out, we tackled both a 6km and 8km routes, taking in the stunning views over Bray from the summit. The effort was well worth it, and we wrapped things up in the best way possible—enjoying a well-earned `Wicklow Wolf 0.5` together.
We are looking forward to our next run already on Friday, 21st February!
We’re heading to Laragh for a run up Paddock Hill. Expect a mix of forest trails, climbs and of course good company. We will be meeting at Trooperstown Woods Car Park at 6:45 PM for a 7:00 PM start
Two route options:
Short Route: 5.7km | 195m climb
Long Route: 8.7km | 293m climb
Bring your trail runners, a head torch, your phone and be ready for another great evening on the trails. See you there!

Our first Wicklow Wolf run Club run of the year has been postponed with the current status red weather warning in place tomorrow.
We have taken the decision to postpone our run until next Friday 31st at 7pm with the same route taking place. Obviously we are very excited to get our first run underway but the safety of everyone is our first and foremost priority.
Hope everyone can stay safe and we look forward to our first run together next week.

The first Wicklow Wolf Running Club run of the year will take place next Friday 24th in Bray at 7pm. Meeting at the Strand Rd car park at 6:45, we will be taking off down the seafront and making our way up and around Bray Head. It is always a favourite run of ours, taking in the views at the top of Bray head and a well deserved little break at the top to catch your breath. We will have 2 distances on the night a longer 8km and a slightly shorter run that is 6km. Please don`t forget your head torches.
The Wicklow Wolf Running Club is a social run club and accommodates people at all levels of fitness. If you are interested in joining us on the run – please DM us.
Where possible, we encourage our runners to carpool or use public transport getting to and from our runs.

As 2024 draws to a close, we have had another year that we will never forget. We celebrated our 10th Birthday and become B Corp Certified.
It`s been a busy year at the brewery that has seen us release 22 new beers, welcome thousands of people into our Taproom for tours and beer and continue to to keep taps, shelves and fridges stocked full of exceptional beer.
