All of our merch is sourced with sustainability and people in mind. Printed and embroidered in Dublin, and made using only 100% recycled materials, everything has been made with respect for both people and the planet.

This Saturday we are organising a gathering with some of our brewery friends at the @theharbourbar in Bray for a mini beer festival underneath the full moon. We will be joined on the day by @loughgillbrewery, @mescanbrewery, @obrotherbrewing and @larkins_brewing. #IndependentByNature
A black IPA that pours a deep, dark black with a tan head, Whirlpool Galaxy is generously hopped with Galaxy hops in the whirlpool and during fermentation. A beer that boasts citrus, peach and passionfruit flavours and aromas coming through from the Galaxy hops, supported by a strong roasted malt backbone which brings roast coffee and dark chocolate notes.

Nasa’s James Webb Space Telescope recently took an incredible photo of a distant Whirlpool Galaxy, and our brewing team were inspired to brew just that, a Black IPA using Galaxy Hops in the Whirlpool. Releasing into the wild on Monday.
We have a busy weekend planned at the @theharbourbar in Bray on the 24th & 25th of November, with not one, but two events taking place.
Join us on Friday 24th November for an evening of Sliced Cans and Sliced pans. We will be serving our collaboration with @brennansbread, `Sliced Can Lager` along with some family pan toasties.

Dark Sarcasm pours a deep, dark opaque black and boasts aromas of red apple, winter fruits, mulled wine and a hint of cinnamon on the nose. The taste gives further complex characteristics of dark chocolate, red wine tannins, apple crumble and stewed oranges. A beer to be sipped and savoured over the winter months.

Introducing Endangered Species no. 42, Dark Sarcasm. An 11.0% Imperial Stout that was slowly aged for over one year in Cognac and Madeira barrels and blended by our brewers to give a complex, rich stout. Releasing into the wild on Monday.

In late September we welcomed 35 incredible volunteers to the Taproom to help hand pick this years Hop Harvest. This is the result of that hard work and a reflection of the Wicklow Terroir. #IndependentByNature

We brewed a small batch of our first ever beer to celebrate our 9th birthday. A beer that has inspired our journey and a beer that will always be close to our hearts, we can’t wait to enjoy a pint in some of the pubs that have supported us from the very beginning.
We recently celebrated our 9th Birthday. Sometimes we forget to take a breath and look back at how far we have come. From a pilot kit in an old bakery in Bray to our new purpose built brewery in Newtownmountkennedy. We have brewed over 120 beers over the last nine years and here is to many more.
